The horror community went pretty ga-ga over Martyrs a couple of months back, but I wasn't as blown away. That being said, the further I get from it, the more it improves in my estimation. I'm interested to see your full piece -- any way you can hold your posts till you have the link? I get everything through your RSS, so I almost always click through before you've linked, and thus often miss the full reviews... Alternately, I could be less lazy and just come back later...
I would stagger my reviews but it's a lot easier for me to just put up place-holders like this as I go so that they way I don't have to keep a running tab of what needs posting and what doesn't. I will say this though: MARTYRS has the potential to be read as a very intelligent and uncompromising take on the psychological underpinnings on torture. In other words, I go kinda far out on a limb.
