Such a strange but compelling film noir and an especially ballsy one, too. I love the way that this ends by saying, "Well, the film's over but the drama is just beginning on the global theater of waaaar." Or something. Very strange, indeed. Come for Robert Mitchum, stay for the kooky post-war spy stuff.
