334) Bitter Feast (2010)

334) Bitter Feast (2010) Dir: Joe Maggio Date Released: October 2010 Date Seen: October 17, 2010 Rating: 2/5

Eh. Really good Larry Fessenden performance (wish I had remembered it come Muriels voting time). But others pretty rank. See my review for the New York Press.

333) The Oxford Murders (2008)

333) The Oxford Murders (2008) Dir: Alex de la Iglesia Date Released (VOD): July 2010 Date Seen: October 17, 2010 Rating: 3.75/5

My kind of unhinged; like Stoppard's Jumpers if it were a giallo. See my dvd review for Slant Magazine.

332) Red (2010)

332) Red (2010) Dir: Robert Schwentke Date Released: October 2010 Date Seen: October 15, 2010 Rating: 3.5/5

Eh. I could take and leave it all at once so I made myself take it. See my review for the New York Press.

331) The Mummy (1959)

331) The Mummy (1959) Dir: Terence Fisher Date Released: December 1959 Date Seen: October 15, 2010 Rating: 3.5/5

Seems like a rehash of Fisher's Horror of Dracula in a way but doesn't have the panache of that film, just the creaky affect. I enjoyed myself but still.

330) Leaves of Grass (2009)

330) Leaves of Grass (2009) Dir: Tim Blake Nelson Date Released (DVD): October 2010 Date Seen: October 12, 2010 Rating: 2/5

An uninspired Coen brothers-inspired quirkfest. See my dvd review for the New York Press.

329) Hereafter (2010)

329) Hereafter (2010) Dir: Clint Eastwood Date Released: October 2010 Date Seen: October 12, 2010 Rating: 3.5/5

This one, flawed as it is, connected with me. A lot going on in it. See my review for the New York Press.

328) Red, White & Blue (2010)

328) Red, White & Blue (2010) Dir: Simon Rumley Date Released: October 2010 Date Seen: October 11, 2010 Rating: 2.25/5

In theory, kind of interesting but in practice, totally lame. See my review for the New York Press.
